Tara Okhovatian graduated from CPF Oncology Yoga training at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL on August 25, 2024. She will be teaching her karma yoga Oncology Yoga class in the fall of 2024 in the Daytona area.
Tara is a certified yoga instructor and a graduate of the Christina Phipps Foundation Oncology Yoga training at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. She completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training through the Shanti Enrichment program in 2011 and has taught yoga throughout Volusia County in Florida. In 2017, Tara became a health insurance agent, and in 2024, she launched her own business, Covered by Tara. Now, she combines her passion for yoga and wellness with her insurance career, offering karma yoga oncology classes in partnership with the Christina Phipps Foundation to create opportunities for health and healing in her community.
