Elizabeth Michaels and fellow CPF Oncology Yoga teacher Naomi Maness will be speaking April 1, 2025 at 6:00 pm in the Matanzas Room, in the UF Health Flagler Hospital. The presentation will be geared to the Breast Cancer Support group, as both of these speakers are Oncology Yoga teachers at UF Health. They will discuss the healing power of yoga and introduce our CPF Oncology Yoga classes.

Elizabeth graduated from CPF Oncology Yoga training at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL on August 25, 2024. She teaches the CPF Oncology Yoga class at UF Health Flagler Hospital at 2:00pm every Friday in St. Augustine.

She earned her YTT 200 yoga instructor designation from Discovery Yoga in St Augustine Florida. Trained in the Kripalu yoga tradition, her practice focuses on increasing body awareness while cultivating union of the body and breath. Born and raised in the Highlands of Scotland, Elizabeth discovered her passion for yoga after moving to the United States. Experiencing first hand how yoga helped her cope with her own challenges, she was inspired to share its benefits with others. Elizabeth is now dedicated to guiding and supporting individuals on their unique journeys through the healing practice of yoga.
