Bev graduated from CPF Oncology Yoga training April 13, 2025. She teaches live classes in the Orlando area of Florida at Magnolia Wellness Studio.
Bevalie has always been drawn, towards a way of living with a strong mind body connection. She loved yoga right from the start, exploring many different styles. She started practicing Ashtanga, Hatha and Vinyasa yoga, Yin/Yang and Yoga Nidra, and wanted to immerse herself in a training to deepen her own personal practice about 25 years ago. She continues to learn from her most influential mentors and teachers of the past and present.
Through her absolute joy of teaching yoga, she loves to encourage others to create space to discover the power of their true selves. Solid Ground. Balanced Body. Free Mind.
Bevalie began her classical Ballet training at Atlanta Ballet, studying since the age of 5. She has a BA Degree in Ballet and Teaching Certification from Virginia Intermont College, where she danced with the Bristol Concert Ballet Company for 4 years. She studied the fundamentals of Pedagogy for teaching grades 1-6 of the Vaganova Ballet Syllabus. She then completed her Certification in Pre-Primary thru Level 7/Partnering with the American Ballet Theatre Curriculum, which she presently teaches today.
Bevalie teaches Mat Pilates, takes Pilates Reformer classes on a regular basis, and has her 200RYT in Yoga. She is in her 9th year of Certification in Zena Rommett Floor-Barre ®, and is a certified teacher in PBT ®, Progressing Ballet Technique - completing Levels 1-3 of the curriculum.
She was formerly School Performance Coordinator/Nutcracker Coordinator as well as Head of the Young Dancer Division for Orlando Ballet’s professional Company/School, being on the Faculty Staff at Orlando Ballet School for 25 years.
Bevalie found her passion not only in ballet, but in yoga as well, and knew that her dancing and yoga beautifully fell hand in hand. She believes that yoga is for anyone and everyone to enjoy and benefit from. She believes that we all choose an authentic yoga practice that best suits our personal goals, and believes that it’s not about the destination, but about the journey. She is a gentle soul, teaching yoga classes designed to heal as well as strengthen the connection between body, mind, and spirit. She believes that yoga practice will take you down many roads and through many landscapes on this journey. Some of these landscapes will make you laugh, some will make you cry, and all of them will offer you new perspectives on the world. She is excited to bring her over 40 years of knowledge and training students at Magnolia Yoga and Wellness Center.
