Amber Strong, Oncology Yoga Teacher

Amber graduated from CPF Oncology Yoga training in August, 2024 at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL.

In her words:

February 2023, I embarked on a transformative journey that would forever change my life. It was in this pivotal moment, weeks before the unimaginable loss of my daughter Aubrey, that I discovered yoga. In the midst of profound grief and searching for a way to heal and ground myself, yoga became my sanctuary. Through meditation and daily practice, I found a path to resilience and inner peace.

By April 2024, I had completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training, a testament to my dedication to this practice that had so deeply nourished my soul. Yoga has been a guiding light, helping me to remain centered and focused on what brings me joy and serenity.

My involvement with the Christina Phipps Foundation has provided me with a sense of purpose beyond myself. It allows me to share the calming and transformative tools I've learned with others who are seeking peace. I currently teach as a substitute in Neptune Beach, FL, at a local studio, as well as dedicating my time to supporting the Christina Phipps Foundation’s mission at Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville, FL.

I believe yoga is a universal practice accessible to everyone, regardless of body size, age, injury or illness. It is a journey without limitations, and I am passionate about guiding others on their own path to well-being.
